Electrical Design Engineer; White Plains, NY
Electrical Design Engineer- We’re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with approximately 3–4 years of experience to join a growing consulting engineering team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to continue developing technically while taking on more responsibility and working on a variety of building projects.
What You’ll Do
- Design electrical systems for commercial and building projects
- Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations
- Work on lighting, power distribution, and other building electrical systems
- Coordinate designs with architects, mechanical, plumbing, and other engineering disciplines
- Assist with projects from initial design through construction
- Participate in site visits, field surveys, and construction administration as needed
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 3–4 years of electrical engineering/design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards
- Experience with building electrical systems, including lighting and power
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a project team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
