Director of Nursing — Long-Term Care FacilityThe Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee all nursing operations in a long-term care facility serving older adults. This hands-on leadership role involves managing staff, ensuring high-quality care, maintaining compliance, and supporting day-to-day operational management.Why This Job Is Awesome:

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all nursing staff across 3 shifts, supporting morale, professional development, and accountability
- Oversee resident care, including assessments, admissions appropriateness, documentation, and incident management
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support facility operations, including governance, policy updates, and staff hiring processes
- Serve as a point of contact for families, tours, and admissions-related discussions once fully onboarded
Skills & Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 3 years long-term care experience; 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience with geriatric care and multi-shift nursing leadership
- Knowledge of incident management, policy development, and documentation standards
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email, messaging) and familiarity with EMR systems preferred
- Familiarity with state systems: Virtual Gateway, vaccination tracking portals, Mass Mutual Aid Emergency Plan tools
- Doctoral degree preferred, but extensive experience in LTC leadership accepted
- Must be comfortable commuting to Wrentham, MA Monday-Friday
