Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for the Director, Global Procurement. The individual in this position will lead and oversee procurement operations across various departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key day-to-day responsibilities include strategic category management, supplier relationship management, negotiating contracts, and implementing effective procurement processes. The Director will also focus on optimizing supply chain operations and driving efficiencies across global procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Category Management and Supplier Management
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Procurement processes
- Experience in Supply Chain Management with a focus on efficiency and optimization
- Exceptional strategic planning and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using procurement software and analytics tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Experience working in an international organization or overseeing global procurement processes is a plus
