Diesel Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship.
- Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service.
- Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments.

- Have 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate’s Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
- Ability to travel to offsite training facilities, as needed
- Must have own tools
- Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently
- Exceptional Documentation and Communication Abilities
Preferred:
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to travel to customer and company locations
