Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field – Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within the manufacturing sector – Proficient understanding of part and tool availability, procurement, and inventory management – Strong grasp of manufacturing processes and machinery – Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, with a knack for multitasking and deadline management – Excellent problem-solving capabilities, especially in troubleshooting complex equipment challenges – Strong communication skills for effective coordination across various departments and management levels – Proficient in maintenance management software and other relevant applications – Demonstrated dedication to safety and adherence to all pertinent regulations and policies – Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team, showcasing leadership and initiative

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all machinery and equipment, aiming to minimize downtime and disruption in manufacturing processes – Collaborate with different departments to identify their equipment needs and schedule required maintenance – Ensure the availability of essential parts and tools for every maintenance task – Monitor and manage inventory levels of vital maintenance supplies and parts – Work closely with the purchasing department to procure necessary parts and tools promptly – Supervise the execution of the maintenance schedule, adjusting plans based on equipment performance and operational requirements – Use maintenance data to spot trends, foresee potential problems, and design preventative maintenance strategies – Team up with the maintenance staff to address complex equipment issues and formulate solutions – Provide regular updates to management regarding maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels – Ensure all maintenance tasks adhere to safety standards and company policies
