Job Title: DevOps Engineer III

Contract: 6+ months with strong possibilities of extensions.

Location: San Diego, CA

Work Schedule: Hybrid 2 to 3 days onsite
Pay range: $48 to $53.00 an hour on W2

Job Overview:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer III to provide deep technical troubleshooting and operational support for Adobe Campaign s most complex and large-scale customers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-stack troubleshooting, cloud infrastructure, automation, and monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deep technical troubleshooting for escalated customer issues involving Adobe Campaign.
  • Use monitoring and reporting tools to analyze root causes of major technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with customer care, escalation teams, product management, and engineering to deliver timely resolutions.
  • Drive operational readiness across the full lifecycle from design and deployment to ongoing operations and refinement.
  • Develop automation tools and operational enhancements that enable faster deployments, self-service configuration, and improved monitoring.
  • Ensure proper monitoring, metrics, and alerting are integrated before production release.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Full-stack troubleshooting: Networking, OS (Debian, CentOS), Apache, HAProxy, Nginx, RDBMS.
  • Monitoring tools: Splunk, New Relic, Nagios.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure expertise in networking (VPCs, security groups), VMs (EC2), databases (RDS), and load balancing (ELB/ALB).
  • Programming: Experience developing applications in Python, Java, or Go.
  • DevOps practices: Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies.
  • Project management: Ability to scope work, estimate effort, and break down tasks effectively.
  • Documentation: Excellent information management practices (wikis, detailed documentation, collaboration tools).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
