The work is highly visible internally, deeply collaborative, and designed to scale across global programs.What You Will Do As a Deployment Strategist, you will sit at the intersection of data, product, and real-world operations. You’ll work directly with end users to turn complex, ambiguous problems into scalable, data-driven solutions that have immediate operational impact.Key responsibilities include: Partnering closely with customer analysts and operators to understand critical workflows, challenges, and decision-making needsTranslating real-world operational problems into clear data and product requirementsIdentifying and integrating relevant datasets in collaboration with engineering teamsDesigning and deploying tailored workflows for new user groupsLeading training sessions and workshops to drive adoption and measurable impactPresenting findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders ranging from analysts to senior leadershipWorking cross-functionally with software engineering and product teams to feed customer insights back into core product developmentBuilding demos and supporting new deployments across expanding programs and geographiesThis is a highly hands-on role—no two days look the same.Ideal Candidate Background We’re looking for candidates who thrive in unstructured environments and enjoy solving complex problems that matter.You may be a strong fit if you bring:Experience working in data-centric, analytical, or technical roles with real-world stakeholdersComfort navigating ambiguous problems and turning them into actionable solutionsStrong communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers or partnersA collaborative, low-ego mindset with a bias toward executionWillingness to travel occasionally (up to ~25%) and work on-site as requiredPreferred Qualifications Experience with programming, scripting, or analytical tools such as Python, SQL, R, or MATLABBackground in government, defense, national security, logistics, aviation, or readiness-related domainsPrior experience in consulting, deployment, forward-deployed engineering, or customer-facing technical rolesExposure to large-scale data systems or enterprise software platformsCompensation, Benefits & Other DetailsBase salary: $110,000 — $170,000 (commensurate with experience)Equity: Included as part of total compensationBenefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefitsOnboarding: Initial onboarding period in Washington, D.C., followed by relocation to San Diego (relocation and temporary housing support provided)Work environment: Highly collaborative, mission-driven, and fast-pacedGrowth: Strong upward mobility and visibility within a rapidly scaling organizationIf you’re motivated by solving real-world problems with data, enjoy working directly with users, and want to see your work make an immediate impact, this role offers a rare combination of technical depth, operational exposure, and career growth.
