Database Engineer – SQL & NoSQL
Requirements
Must have:
– Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory. – Candidates must be able to work onsite in San Antonio, TX up to five days a week based on customer needs. – Bachelors degree in a relevant field is required. – A Masters degree may replace 2 years of required experience. – At least 10 years of experience in the relevant functional area. – 10 years of combined experience in both relational and cloud-based databases: – Database development and software engineering. – Database design and data modeling. – Requirements analysis and generation. – Development of systems and software architecture. – 5 years of experience with Enterprise DB. – 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL. – Proven experience in creating and maintaining automated installation scripts. – Demonstrated capability in developing database solutions within a multi-tiered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the tasks outlined in the role. – Utilize analytical skills to facilitate process enhancements, specialized studies, and requirements definition. – Engage in analysis, planning, and development of requirements documentation. – Construct functional models and procedures while developing functional architecture. – Undertake related management and technical responsibilities as necessary. – Maintain expertise in the designated specialty area.
