Database Engineer – SQL and NoSQL expertise

Requirements

Must have:

– Active TS/SCI clearance is essential. – Must be capable of reporting on-site in San Antonio, TX up to five days weekly, according to customer needs. – A Bachelors degree in a relevant field is mandatory. – A Masters degree may compensate for two years of experience. – A minimum of 10 years of experience in the functional area is required. – At least 10 years of combined expertise in relational and cloud-based databases: – Database development and software engineering/development. – Database design and data modeling. – Requirements analysis and generation. – Development of systems and software architecture. – A minimum of 5 years of experience with Enterprise DB. – At least 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL. – Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts. – Demonstrated skills in developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise in the designated tasks. – Utilize analytical skills to support process enhancement, specialized studies, and defining requirements. – Engage in analysis, planning, and the creation of requirements documents. – Develop functional models and procedures, as well as functional architecture. – Perform other management and technical duties as required. – Exhibit proficiency in the specialty area.
