Position: Data Warehouse Engineer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 – $100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sources.
Develop and optimize logical and physical data models within modern data warehousing environments.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data infrastructure for optimal performance and scalability.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all platforms and solutions.
Document technical processes, system designs, and data flows with clarity and precision.

Requirements

Have expert-level proficiency in MySQL for complex querying, schema design, and performance tuning.
Possess strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation.
Have hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines in production environments.
Demonstrate expertise with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on clear documentation and collaborative problem-solving.
