Data Scientist

The Role

• Conduct independent reviews and testing of quantitative models, including design approach, sampling, sensitivity analysis, and robustness checks.

• Assess models for conceptual soundness, data limitations, and quantitative biases, including fairness and ethical AI standards.

• Ensure all modeling lifecycles align with internal frameworks and regulatory mandates.

• Provide constructive, actionable feedback and challenges to model developers regarding model design and limitations.

• Author comprehensive validation reports and maintain documentation for audit and senior management review.

What You’ll Need

• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL, with experience in machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, probability, and advanced mathematical concepts.

• Proficiency in conducting model validation and risk assessment.

• Excellent technical writing and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain complex quantitative risks to non-technical audiences.

• Experience in data science, risk management, or quantitative analysis.
