Job Description Revised on 12/11/2025Leads the City’s efforts to provide data and financial transparency through the Open Data division. Coordinates open data projects and goals by meeting with City departments, directors, staff, City Management, City Council, and Mayor as necessary. - Assists departments in providing transparency through open data.
- Coordinates and leads meetings with key City personnel to identify and gather and report data for public distribution
- Responsible for submission and oversight of City’s efforts to gain transparency certifications and recognitions
- Creates reports and dashboards.
- Responsible for the City’s online open data portals to ensure that the data reported is accurate and timely.
- Gain knowledge of City business and operations to ensure that relevant data is publicized to meet with data transparency goals.
- Identifies emerging methods and technologies related to data/information management and analysis.
- Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use
- Performs related work as required.
