Data Engineer

The Role

• Designs, implements, and operates data management systems tailored for intelligence requirements.

• Defines how data will be stored, accessed, utilized, integrated, and managed across various data regimes and digital systems.

• Collaborates with data users to create and populate optimal data architectures, structures, and systems.

• Plans, designs, and optimizes data throughput and query performance.

• Participates in the selection, configuration, and utilization of backend database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, HPC).

• Optimizes the full data pipeline infrastructure to support content, volume, ETL, and periodicity for intended queries and analysis.

What You’ll Need

• Current TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a counterintelligence polygraph.

• Minimum of 12 years of related experience, with a portion within the last 2 years preferred.

• Master’s Degree in a related field preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of labor category activities relevant to mission requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Proven ability to communicate complex, indirect, and technical information clearly.
