About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Crypto Tax Specialist to join our expanding team. This hybrid role offers a flexible work schedule, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management, particularly with cryptocurrency transactions, and possess the necessary credentials such as CPA or LLM. Your primary responsibilities will include importing and reconciling crypto transactions, preparing detailed crypto tax reports, and assisting in the preparation and review of individual and business tax returns related to digital assets. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess at least two years of experience in tax management, including review and preparation, with a focus on individual and business clients. Experience with income tax preparation for partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps is preferred. Candidates must hold a CPA license or an LLM degree. Bonus points are awarded for familiarity with crypto tax software such as CoinTracking.info, ZenLedger, or Koinly, as well as knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets, fintech payments, and cryptocurrency transaction management. A resourceful, analytical mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently is essential. Entrepreneurial and consultative skills will be highly valued.

Responsibilities Your core responsibilities will include importing crypto transactions and performing account reconciliations using platforms like CoinTracking or other crypto software. You will prepare comprehensive crypto tax reports for both individual and business clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation and review of crypto-related tax returns, providing expert guidance to clients navigating the complexities of digital asset taxation. Collaboration with team members to optimize processes and stay updated on evolving crypto tax laws will also be part of your role.
