Requirements


Must have:

– You must be at least 18 years old. – You need a high school diploma or equivalent. – You should have 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory control, or a similar field. – You need familiarity with inventory management systems and software, along with basic office tools such as Excel and Word. – You must be able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator. – You need the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents. – You should understand proper lifting techniques and know how to use material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. – Additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline is preferred. – Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills are highly valued. – Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities are preferred. – You should maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude. – You need to be available for a flexible schedule, including overtime when required. – You must be able to lift and move heavy materials and perform physical handling tasks related to server trays and server racks. – You need to safely use power equipment to move very heavy server racks in line with established protocols and safety standards. – You must be able to carry objects up to 50 lbs over short distances. – You should be able to stand for extended periods of more than 4 hours. – You need the ability to walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps per day. – You must be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull objects of different shapes and sizes during team lifts. – You should be able to tolerate both hot and cold work environments.

Responsibilities:


  • Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming inventory, including racks, trays, networking equipment, and other hardware. – Keep inventory records current and ensure all received and shipped items are properly documented. – Conduct regular stock counts and resolve inventory discrepancies. – Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers. – Prepare shipping paperwork, labels, and packaging for outgoing deliveries. – Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for completeness and accuracy. – Move inventory by hand using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks while following all safety procedures. – Keep storage spaces and shipping/receiving areas clean and well organized. – Help dispose of packaging materials and obsolete equipment as needed. – Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment. – Comply with data center security measures and access controls. – Work with cross-functional teams, including data center operations, procurement, and technical support, to meet inventory and logistics needs. – Support special projects and other management-directed initiatives. – Perform additional assigned duties as needed, with attention to quality, safety, and efficiency. – Assist with setting up and installing computer server racks according to instructions. – Help assemble server racks using diagrams and guidance from senior team members. – Use basic tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete installation work. – Support senior technicians with cable management and organization inside server racks.
