Data and Finance Test Lead
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Define and implement the test strategy for data pipelines, ETL processes, reporting dashboards, and analytics models.
Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts to understand data flows, transformation logic, and reporting requirements.
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and UAT phases.
Experienced in Commercial Insurance Premium Booking/Financials booking processes
Roles & Responsibilities
8 years of experience in software/data testing, with 3 years in data engineering or BI testing.
Strong expertise in Databricks, Informatica, SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
Experience in data validation, ETL testing, and report verification.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
Act as the primary point of contact for testing leadership during transition.
Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with project goals.
Facilitate governance forums, workshops, and strategic connects to drive consensus and resolve conflicts
Risk & Compliance – Identify transition risks and develop mitigation plans.
Ensure all testing artifacts, environments, and tools are transitioned securely and compliantly.
Support audit and compliance teams with required documentation.
Metrics & Reporting – Define KPIs for transition success (e.g., defect leakage, test coverage, KT effectiveness).
Provide weekly dashboards and executive summaries to customer and internal leadership.
