About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Data Analyst to join our team on a fully remote basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting a multi-site evaluation project by designing and implementing survey instruments, conducting data cleaning, and performing comprehensive quantitative analyses. The role involves developing detailed codebooks, managing large datasets, and ensuring compliance with FISMA standards. The analyst will collaborate closely with internal teams—including the Research Coordinator, Project Manager, and Evaluation Lead—as well as external partners such as federal agencies and grantees. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful public health evaluations, utilizing advanced data analysis techniques to inform policy and program decisions. The role requires approximately 5-10% travel and is contingent upon contract award, emphasizing flexibility and dedication to project success.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience leading quantitative data analytics projects
- Proficiency with statistical software such as NVivo, SAS, and SPSS
- Strong background in statistical methods and data analysis techniques
- Experience coding, validating, cleaning, and analyzing clinical and survey data from multiple sources
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage quantitative data collection tools and codebooks
- Experience serving as a consultant on analytic projects, providing technical assistance and guidance
- Ability to support literature reviews, program evaluations, and resource reporting
- Proficiency in data visualization and report writing
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience working within or supporting public health federal agencies preferred
- Ability to obtain a government clearance
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Support the development of evaluation plans, data collection instruments, and abstraction tools
- Coordinate data collection activities and ensure data quality and integrity
- Conduct data cleaning, validation, and analysis using appropriate statistical techniques
- Develop comprehensive codebooks and data manuals for large-scale datasets
- Assist in the design and implementation of surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other qualitative and quantitative data collection methods
- Generate detailed analysis reports, including summaries, visualizations, and presentations
- Provide consultation and technical assistance based on data analysis findings to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Create data dissemination resources such as presentation slides and informational webinars
- Support project meetings through agenda development, note-taking, and logistical coordination
- Collaborate with the project team and external partners to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data collection and analysis processes
