About The Role We are seeking an Environmental Data Analyst to join our expanding team in a dynamic, full-time role that offers flexibility with a remote or hybrid work arrangement within the United States. As an integral member of our Environmental Data Management team, you will support environmental data efforts across a variety of investigation and remediation projects. Your primary responsibilities will include managing, analyzing, and delivering environmental data to support scientific and engineering decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will bring a creative approach to data collection, management, and visualization, ensuring that data products are concise, accurate, and visually compelling. You will collaborate closely with technical staff nationwide, providing guidance on data utilization and helping to develop innovative solutions for environmental data challenges. This role requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in environmental data management and analysis within the environmental consulting industry
- Proficiency with environmental relational database management systems such as EarthSoft EQuIS, Power BI, and OpenGround
- Experience with database software including MS SQL Server and MS Access
- Strong skills in manipulating and organizing data sets in MS Excel for database import and reporting
- Ability to manage and report on chemicals commonly encountered in environmental investigations, including metals, VOCs, SVOCs, fuels, pesticides, PCBs, and PFAS
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulatory requirements and electronic deliverables is a plus
- High initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities
Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze environmental data across diverse investigation and remediation projects
- Approach each data task as an opportunity to innovate in data collection, management, and visualization techniques
- Produce clear, concise, and aesthetically accurate data products for internal and client review
- Provide guidance to scientists and engineers on leveraging data for informed decision-making
- Collaborate effectively with teams nationwide, ensuring project requirements and client needs are met
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently
- Maintain data integrity and quality throughout the data lifecycle from collection to reporting
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate best practices into data management processes
- Assist in developing and configuring enterprise dashboards and visualization tools to meet project needs
