Requirements

Must have:

– Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility; may need to agree to and complete a Government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph – Over 10 years of related experience within the Department of Defense – At least 4 years of experience in a SAP/SCI environment, with recent involvement in the last five years – Ability to thrive in a dynamic setting with a diverse team focused on shared goals – Capable of advising senior leadership to help guarantee mission success – Proficient in simplifying complex information for better understanding – Proactive in preventing issues rather than just responding to them – Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong attention to detail – Robust critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a pivotal member of our cybersecurity team by implementing IT security measures to protect system data and resources – Lead essential operations pertaining to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Department of Defense (DoD) Information Systems – Oversee the approval and maintenance processes, ensuring compliance through continuous monitoring and vulnerability assessments – Collaborate with Certified Defense Contractors and manage communication with Security Control Assessors (SCA) and Authorizing Official Designated Representatives (AODR) – Maintain organizational networks, manage user accounts, conduct system audits, and perform vulnerability scans – Provide crucial cybersecurity insights and support to both civilian and military personnel, as well as senior leadership – Participate actively in government inspections and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
