Role Description
BlueStar Pros is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support cybersecurity consulting engagements across enterprise, cloud, and critical infrastructure environments. This role will assist with vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, incident response activities, security documentation, and compliance monitoring across complex technology systems.
The analyst will work closely with senior cybersecurity architects and governance specialists to support cybersecurity programs, security assessments, and technology modernization initiatives. Experience supporting regulated environments, critical infrastructure, or operational technology environments is strongly preferred.
This position may support project-based consulting engagements and task-order work under government and commercial contracts.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Application Security and Cybersecurity best practices
- Knowledge of Malware Analysis and Network Security methodologies
- Strong Analytical Skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks
- Experience with security tools and technologies
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting collaboratively and independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 2–5 years of cybersecurity experience in security operations, risk management, or security assessment roles.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, and other common security control frameworks
- Ability to work in consulting environments supporting multiple projects or clients
