About The Role We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join Spectrum as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will serve as the frontline ambassador for our brand, assisting customers with their inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing account-related concerns. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support through phone interactions, ensuring each customer’s experience is positive and productive. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or retention roles
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Knowledge of Spectrum products and troubleshooting techniques for Video, Internet, and Voice services
- Proficiency with billing systems and account management software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues
- Quick thinking, goal-oriented mindset, and determination
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and effective multitasking abilities
- Positive phone demeanor and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Proficiency in using personal computers and relevant software, including Microsoft Office Suite and intranet navigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 1 year of experience working in cable operations or telecommunications call centers
Responsibilities
- Resolve customer inquiries related to Spectrum’s Video, Internet, and Streaming services by utilizing diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage account activation, maintenance, billing concerns, and service upgrades through effective phone support
- Recommend suitable product upgrades and solutions to enhance customer experience and value
- Process orders, handle account updates, and navigate Spectrum’s account management systems efficiently
- Facilitate escalations when necessary and determine if field visits are required for complex technical issues
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve the overall customer experience and foster long-term relationships
- Achieve and exceed sales activity goals while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Spectrum’s product offerings
