What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Engage with individuals served and the general public in a welcoming and empathetic manner
  • Provide high-standard, individualized customer service and support
  • Answer and triage inbound calls and emails, assisting with inquiries about programs and community resources
  • Act as an ambassador for the employer, promoting programs and services offered
  • Document all call information according to organizational policies and procedures

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 2 years of clerical customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume call environment

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in a nonprofit or social services setting
  • Familiarity with the employer’s programs and services
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations
