As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a vital link between patients, caregivers, and service providers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient resolution of inquiries related to payroll and Medicaid programs. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess at least one year of customer service experience, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in computer usage, troubleshooting, and navigating various software systems is essential. Candidates must demonstrate empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanor, especially when handling sensitive or emotionally charged situations involving patients and caregivers. Excellent active listening skills, clear verbal and written communication, and attention to detail are critical. The ability to multitask, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and maintain a quality-focused approach to achieve first call resolution are highly valued. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable working with numbers and discussing financial matters confidently and accurately.

Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include answering incoming calls from patients and caregivers with professionalism and compassion, providing accurate information, and addressing their inquiries effectively. You will make outbound calls to follow up, assist with enrollment processes, and help set up accounts within relevant systems. A key aspect of your role involves retrieving and verifying information to assist caregivers with payroll-related questions, ensuring timely and accurate payments. You will employ de-escalation techniques to support upset or frustrated callers, offering guidance and directions to resolve issues efficiently. Documenting interactions, outcomes, and relevant details accurately within the system is vital to maintaining quality standards. You will also participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on program policies and enhance your customer service skills.
