At Earthscape, we create beautiful, innovative custom playground sculptures and structures that inspire children and adults to creatively play. By partnering with some of the most prestigious Landscape Architecture firms in North America, we bring brilliant playground concepts to life. Our award-winning design-build firm is located just outside of Elmira, Ontario in Waterloo Region.

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representativefor an 18-month contract. The ideal candidate might come from a background in design-build, custom manufacturing, or landscape design. Because our playground projects are highly unique and often fall outside standard building code categories, you must be comfortable navigating complex, non-traditional specifications and applying creative problem-solving to ensure successful project delivery.

What you’ll own:

  • Your role involves conducting detailed technical evaluations in collaboration with teammates to validate the accuracy of claims and documenting every failure to drive long-term quality improvements for the company
  • You are responsible for maintaining highly organized and accurate records, ensuring that every claim is traceable, legible, and easily retrievable for future audits or analysis
  • You will serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, delivering timely and professional updates regarding resolution status and project timelines
  • You will perform data entry to help set-up new customers in our system for invoicing and to initiate the start of projects.
  • It will be your job to balance the need for high-quality repairs with responsible resource management, actively identifying opportunities to control costs and minimize overall financial risk.

Ideal candidates are:

  • You possess a natural curiosity that drives you to uncover the reason behind product failures instead of just fixing the immediate problem
  • You bring a precise, technical mindset that allows you to objectively evaluate materials while remaining fully aware of the business’s bottom line
  • You are capable of communicating with complete transparency, maintaining professional relationships even when you have to deliver complex or difficult information
  • You demonstrate a strong commitment to procedural integrity, ensuring that data is handled ethically and in strict compliance with all company policies
  • You take a proactive approach to your work, identifying failure patterns early and escalating them before they evolve into larger, more costly issues.

What’s in it for you?

This job will offer you the opportunity to work on some of North America’s most innovative playground projects. The pace, challenges and problem-solving opportunities will mean you are never bored. You will have the chance to develop and refine a wide variety of skills in our rapidly growing business. Your colleagues are dynamic, and highly skilled. They have an impressive range of backgrounds, skills and expertise.

  • Six-week sabbatical after 14,000 hours worked
