Position: Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer

Location: Pune

Joining: Immediate joiners / candidates currently serving notice period preferredRole Overview We are looking for a strong Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer who has hands-on experience in designing and developing data-driven solutions on Snowflake for complex enterprise business requirements.The candidate should have strong experience in Snowflake development, data modelling, data warehousing and ETL/ELT , along with good understanding of database architecture and data security.Candidates with experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Investment Banking or Financial Services will be strongly preferred.Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Strong SQL development skills
• Experience in Snowflake database and schema design
• Strong understanding of Data Modelling and Data Warehousing
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Stages, COPY INTO
• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of database architecture and design
• Experience with data security, RBAC, PII and data governance
• Experience in performance optimization and scalable data solutions
• Exposure to Python / PySpark / dbt or similar data engineering technologies is preferred
• Exposure to AI/ML/GenAI and advanced data analytics is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Snowflake-based data solutions for complex business requirements.
• Design database structures, schemas, data models and data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines and data transformation processes.
• Work on Snowflake architecture and recommend appropriate technical patterns and solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews and proof-of-concepts where required.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, business teams and global stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data solutions follow appropriate security, governance and PII management practices.
• Identify opportunities to modernize existing platforms, improve efficiency and reduce technical debt.
• Support target-state architecture and technology roadmap initiatives.
• Work in an Agile environment with global technology teams.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and participate in design, development, testing and deployment activities.

Important Screening Criteria Please do not send profiles that are primarily ETL QA / Data QA / ETL Testing profiles .We are specifically looking for candidates who have hands-on Snowflake development and data solution design experience , rather than candidates who have only validated Snowflake data.Please share profiles of immediate joiners or candidates serving notice period and ensure the expected CTC is within 32 LPA .
