Position Summary:
Prepares hot and cold entrees, side dishes, soups, sauces, and baked goods. Follows standardized recipes to meet patients dietary needs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Efficiently prepares food according to established recipes and able to meet production/delivery schedules.

Follows proper sanitation and safety standards for food products, equipment, and work area.

Operate kitchen equipment, ensure it is in proper working order, and reports any necessary repairs.

Follows guidelines to safely store food and supply items.

Performs other related duties as required and directed.

Qualifications:
Required:
· Six (6) months of directly related experience
· Safe Food Handlers Certification within three (3) months of hire
Preferred:
· High school diploma or GED
