Controller

We are conducting a search on behalf of a PE-backed company for a Controller who is ready to own something. Not manage a process someone else built — own it. Build it. Make it better.

The company is growing, has institutional backing, and needs a Controller who can run a tight close, lead a small team, and be a real partner to the CFO and executive leadership. You will own the accounting function end to end — close, audit, technical accounting, compliance, and reporting — and have the latitude to build the function the right way.

If you are a Big 4 trained CPA who has thrived inside a PE-backed business and wants to step into a high-visibility role where your work actually matters, this is worth a conversation.

What we are looking for:

• CPA required, Big 4 or strong regional firm background preferred
• 7 plus years of progressive accounting experience
• At least 2 years inside a PE-backed or high-growth company
• Strong close, consolidation, and audit management experience
• ERP implementation experience a plus
• NetSuite, Sage, or similar systems experience
