Listens takes direction and seeks guidance from the assigned project leads supervisors and company leadership Travel to client locations for installations maintenance or repairs of control systems Education and Experience Associate in Applied Science or Associate in Science in Engineering Technology Computer Information Systems Technology relevant curriculum or experienceTypically 0 3 years of industry experienceDuties and Responsibilities Technical Responsibilities Assist in project installation start up and commissioning of control systemsPerform instrument loop checks and calibrationsPerform maintenance troubleshooting and repair of control systemsAssist in Factory Acceptance Tests FATWire instruments and control panelsDevelop basic understanding of Human Machine Interface HMI and Programmable Logic Controller PLC applicationsDevelop startup and troubleshooting skills with Human Machine Interface HMI applicationsDevelop startup and troubleshooting skills with Programmable Logic Controller PLC applicationsRead and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagramsPractice procedures outlined in the companys Quality Management System QMSAccurately document work performedDevelop basic understanding of control system designDevelop basic understanding of electrical and mechanical system designDevelop basic understanding of Information Technology IT system network infrastructure and computer system design as it relates to control system integrationCustomer Service Communicate in an effective positive and proactive manner
