About the Opportunity:

This position is responsible for following the organization’s contract preparation and approval process requirements to draft, evaluate, and execute moderate to highly complex contracts and related documents at the direction of attorneys and the Director of Contract Administration and/or in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Documents include Master Services Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, and Statements of Work.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, evaluate, and execute customer and/or vendor contracts, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents supporting multiple internal business lines to ensure compliance with policies and applicable laws, escalating for guidance as necessary.

• Take guidance from attorneys and legal management on non-routine contracts, including negotiating third-party contracts or redlines to templates, RFPs, special projects, and other transactions.

• Update and maintain standard contract templates.

• Build and maintain constructive working relationships inside and outside the Legal department.

• Participate in operational and tactical teams within functional areas.

• Implement proactive and concise communication.

• Act as a resource to colleagues and engage in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating core competencies and values.

• Develop an understanding of areas of specialization within the company.

• Work effectively within the contract lifecycle management system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience

• Paralegal education or certificate is desirable

• Minimum of five years of contract administration experience strongly preferred

• Previous contract administration experience within a corporate company strongly preferred

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in a business environment

• Working knowledge of contract law, terms, and conditions

• Solid analytical and assessment skills with ability to summarize results and conclusions concisely

• High attention to detail and critical thinking skills

• Experience drafting simple contracts within prescribed templates and guidelines

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of employees, management, customers, vendors, partners, and third parties

• Ability to work independently on routine responsibilities

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and time-sensitive contract review and creation

• Mid to advanced level Microsoft Word skills; proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat

Compensation:

• Salary range from $74,765.68 to $119,622.59, varying by location and experience

• Eligible for bonus opportunity
