Consumer Insights Lead, Global
About the Role

We are seeking a Consumer Insights Lead, Global to define and drive the end-to-end consumer insights strategy across markets, shaping how the organization understands and serves its customers.
This is a highly strategic role for a senior leader who can translate complex data into actionable insights, influence executive decision-making, and build scalable insights frameworks that inform product, marketing, and business strategy globally.
What You’ll Do
- Define and lead the global consumer insights strategy, ensuring alignment with company priorities and growth objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating consumer behavior and market trends into clear, actionable recommendations
- Design and oversee qualitative and quantitative research programs (e.g., segmentation, brand tracking, journey mapping, NPS, experimentation)
- Synthesize insights from multiple data sources (research, analytics, market data) into cohesive narratives that drive decision-making
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Regional teams to embed insights into roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Build and scale global insights frameworks, tools, and processes to ensure consistency and impact across markets
- Lead and develop a high-performing insights team (or operate as a senior individual contributor with broad influence)
- Identify emerging trends, shifts in consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics across regions
- Drive measurement frameworks to evaluate the impact of consumer-facing initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 8–12+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, strategy, or analytics
- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving business decisions through insights
- Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience working in global, cross-market environments with strong cultural awareness
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, compelling narratives
- Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while also driving execution
- Experience partnering with Product and Marketing teams in high-growth environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplace or consumer tech companies
- Background in consulting or leading insights functions within global organizations
- Experience with advanced analytics, experimentation, or data science teams
- Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Tableau, Qualtrics, or similar research and analytics platforms
- Experience building insights functions or scaling processes from 0→1

- Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension)
- Location: US, remote
- Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
- Pay Rate Range: $130-$170 per hour
