Conflict Analyst Expert

We are in search of an expert Conflict Analyst to join a well-respected law firm in Columbus, OH. This role is instrumental in assisting attorneys with ethical issues and identifying conflicts of interest.This position is ideal for a meticulous professional with strong legal research abilities, a customer-oriented approach, and a passion for compliance and legal ethics.Responsibilities: Create search strategies and perform conflict checks using the firm’s internal system, such as IntappAnalyze and summarize findings for attorneys and Conflicts Counsel, suggesting resolutions for potential issuesConduct corporate research using online databases to uncover connections and affiliationsPrepare engagement letters, conflict waivers, and ethical screen memorandums for internal reviewCollaborate with various legal team members to address conflicts and find solutionsAid in maintaining client/matter records in the conflicts databaseOffer high-level support to attorneys and legal assistants as neededOccasionally assist outside of regular business hoursRequirements: Bachelor’s degree or relevant law firm experience1–2+ years working in a conflicts department at a medium to large law firmKnowledge of legal ethics and professional responsibility rules regarding conflictsProficiency with Intapp or similar conflicts softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAttentive to detail and strong critical thinking abilitiesCapable of translating complex research into actionable guidance
