Blue Sky Hospitality SolutionsEnvue / Residence Inn — Weehawken, NJPosition: Complex Human Resources ManagerSalary Range: $70,000 — $90,000 (commensurate with exp.)Reports To: Complex General ManagerJOB SUMMARY We are seeking a hands-on, operational Complex HR Manager to support our dual-property hotel in Weehawken, NJ (Envue Residence Inn).This is not a strategic or high-level planning role. This is a working HR position responsible for executing the day-to-day HR function on property — including payroll support, recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, and compliance.The ideal candidate is a doer who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, is comfortable being highly visible with associates and managers, and can manage the administrative and operational side of HR with minimal oversight.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES HR Operations & Administration
- Own the daily HR function across both properties
- Maintain employee files, onboarding documentation, and HR systems
- Process status changes, new hires, terminations, and internal transfers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
Payroll & Timekeeping
- Manage weekly payroll process in partnership with Finance
- Review timecards for accuracy, missed punches, and approvals
- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve issues with managers
- Ensure proper tracking of PTO, sick time, and pay codes
Recruitment & Staffing
- Post and manage open positions across platforms
- Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and support hiring managers
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Ensure timely hiring to support operational needs
Employee Relations
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns
- Handle basic employee relations issues, coaching managers as needed
- Support disciplinary processes in alignment with company policy
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor with associates
Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support audits, reporting, and required postings
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
Training & Onboarding
- Facilitate new hire orientation
- Ensure completion of required brand and company training
- Support managers with basic training and coaching needs

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of HR experience (hospitality strongly preferred)
- Strong experience with payroll and timekeeping systems (ADP preferred)
- Experience supporting high-volume hourly workforces
- Comfortable handling employee relations at a basic to moderate level
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- On-site role supporting both properties in Weehawken, NJ
- Must be flexible to support business needs, including weekends/holidays as needed
- Regular walking of the property and interaction with staff required
