This is a high-ownership role for someone who is equally comfortable managing a content calendar, moderating a live discussion, and crafting a thoughtful member introduction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and moderate the Cure community across membership tiers, ensuring timely responses, relevant discussions, and a consistently high-quality member experience
- Own the community content calendar, including curating and posting from video library, sourcing member spotlights, and surfacing relevant Cure research and events
- Facilitate member group connections and introductions — curating group discussions and 1:1 introductions among academic founders, health entrepreneurs, and institutional representatives
- Onboard new members delivering orientation experiences that drive early activation and long-term retention
- Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional member accounts, coordinating access for PI team members, communicating programming, and supporting renewal conversations
- Track community health metrics (engagement rates, post activity, retention, churn signals) and surface insights to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Cure content, events, and marketing teams to align community programming with organizational priorities
- Support the execution of member-exclusive events, expert office hours, and webinars including logistics, pre/post communication, and Circle integration
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in community management, digital membership programs, or related roles ideally in healthcare, life sciences, or innovation ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain engaged professional communities (experience with Circle, Slack, or similar platforms preferred)
- Strong written communication skills; able to write in a warm, credible, and professional voice
- Comfortable with data, can pull reports, interpret engagement trends, and recommend action
- Self-directed with strong project management instincts; able to juggle multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
- Genuine interest in healthcare innovation or entrepreneurship is a strong plus
