CNC Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in machine operation, specifically with CNC machines, and possess a strong understanding of blueprint designs and metalworking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and comprehend technical blueprints and designs to prepare for machining tasks.

• Set up CNC machinery for production runs, ensuring configurations meet project specifications.

• Accurately rework metal components to align with blueprint requirements.

• Measure and verify all calculations prior to machinery setup to ensure precision in production.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company standards.

• Perform regular maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Input all necessary codes to specify feed rates, speeds, and cutting paths for CNC operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience as a CNC Operator, with prior experience as a Machine Operator preferred.

• Must have experience with Enroute software and Multicam CNC

• Experience with CO2 and Fiber Boss laser is a plus

• In-depth knowledge of metal machinery and computer information systems.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Proficient in reporting and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of mechanics, mathematics, and basic chemistry.

• Ability to interpret 3D drawings and orthographic projections effectively.

Education & Training:

• Completion of relevant technical training or apprenticeship programs is preferred.

• Additional professional development courses in CNC operations or related fields are a plus.
