In this role, your work directly supports the production of high-tolerance aerospace parts and assemblies that are critical to aircraft safety, performance, and reliability.This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment where attention to detail truly matters.About the Role As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools-both conventional and CNC-to manufacture precision aerospace components. You’ll interpret engineering documentation, select proper tooling, perform dimensional calculations, and ensure each part meets exact specifications.With company-provided training, you’ll continue to build your skills while contributing to a culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Day-to-Day Responsibilities Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools to produce parts and assemblies to exacting tolerancesInterpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specificationsDetermine machining sequences, number of cuts, tooling requirements, feeds, and speedsUse machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments to verify accuracyPerform shop math related to dimensions, tooling, and machining processesMeasure, mark, and scribe reference points to lay out stock for machiningFit and assemble precision parts into mechanical equipmentIdentify required materials, parts, and equipment for each jobMonitor and verify quality using statistical process control or other quality proceduresMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentRequired Qualifications Completion of a formal machining apprenticeship or equivalent training and experienceExperience operating CNC machine tools in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workWillingness to learn and follow safety and quality standardsPreferred Qualifications Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC)Experience working with tight tolerances and complex assembliesBackground in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturingReady to Put Your Skills to Work in Aerospace?If you’re a dedicated Machine Operator who values precision and wants to be part of building aircraft components that matter, apply today and take the next step in your manufacturing career with PDS Tech Commercial.Pay Details: $31.34 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
