stage of a project Job Description As an Atlas CMT Technician you will support our construction materials testing team by performing field and laboratory testing of soils concrete asphalt and other materials on active construction projects You will represent Atlas in the field by providing accurate testing clear documentation and dependable communication to help our clients maintain quality throughout construction Current ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I certification or the ability to obtain it after hire Core Responsibilities Travel to a variety of construction and project sites to support important infrastructure and development projectsCollect soil concrete asphalt and other material samples for testing and analysisObserve field conditions and construction activities to help ensure work is performed according to project specificationsPerform field and laboratory quality assurance testing using established procedures and industry standardsPrepare accurate daily reports and documentation of testing results observations and project activitiesBuild strong working relationships with clients contractors engineers and project teams while serving as a trusted field representativeYoull thrive here if you have 3 years of experience in the construction materials testing or inspection industryExperience reading and interpreting construction plans project specifications and testing proceduresA strong understanding of concrete soils aggregate base and asphalt pavement materialsExperience supporting highway roadway or building construction projects and collaborating effectively with contractors owners and project teamsA valid drivers license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed approximately 20 travelStrong computer skills and the ability to complete accurate electronic reports using field based database systems on a daily basisCurrent ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I certification or the ability to obtain it after hireCurrent SB 102 and HMAC 1B certifications or the ability to obtain them after hireThe ability to earn any required certifications within six months of employmentExperience using SiteManager is a
