About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC II) to support and coordinate neurology-focused clinical research trials at a leading medical center in Portland, Oregon. This role offers increased independence and responsibility compared to entry-level CRC positions and plays a critical role in ensuring clinical trials are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in full regulatory compliance.

You will partner closely with principal investigators, clinical teams, monitors, and research operations to support study execution from start-up through close-out , while maintaining the highest standards of GCP and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities for clinical research studies
  • Ensure strict adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and GCP guidelines
  • Screen, recruit, and consent study participants
  • Conduct study visits and follow-up calls
  • Maintain accurate and timely source documentation, case report forms, and query resolution
  • Coordinate monitor visits and communicate trial progress to stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison for budget, regulatory documentation, and investigational drug services
  • Maintain study materials, regulatory binders, and investigational products
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field OR
  • Associate’s degree with healthcare, science, or research coursework OR
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical research experience
  • Professional certification upon hire from SoCRA or ACRP
  • At least 2 years of hands-on clinical research experience supporting all phases of trials

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and remote data capture systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical research environment
