The Role

As the Chief Technology Officer you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company: Software Development, Machine Learning, Dev Ops & Infrastructure, Support Engineers, and Product Management. The entire Technical Team comprises over 55 full time staff members.

What we are looking for

  • While the CTO oversees the directors for all of the departments listed above, the primary focus is building new products and enhancing our SaaS software solutions.
  • We need a CTO with a startup mentality.
  • Our CTO needs to be a great software architect.
  • While you should not spend your time writing code, at times you will need to dig into code and help engineers solve problems.
  • We need a CTO who has already embraced AI development paradigms and can help move our team further in this direction by getting hands-on and showing the way
  • Our CTO is a leader of leaders, but we are not looking for an executive-type leader. This is not about Spreadsheets, QBRs, and presentations.
  • EQ and Managing people is important, you must live our core value of “Treating People Well.”
  • We operate at a massive scale with over 12 Petabytes in AWS and processing over 1.5 billion items per month – are you up for this challenge?

Our Tech Stack

  • Tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspaces
  • 70% AWS and 30% our own Data Center
  • Lots of Java, but other languages including Python, React, and Rust.
  • Massive MySQL databases
  • Elastic Search and OpenSearch
  • We operate CI/CD with full pipelines
