Chief Financial Officer
About the Opportunity
A private equity-backed platform company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, operations, and M&A execution across a dynamic growth environment. This role partners closely with the CEO and investors to drive performance, optimize capital structure, and support long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all core finance functions including FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, and reporting
- Develop and execute capital strategy, including debt management and lender relationships
- Drive M&A activities including evaluation, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration
- Build scalable financial systems and infrastructure to support growth
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and business performance
- Prepare the organization for future exit, including investor reporting and financial readiness
- Present financial insights and strategy to board members and stakeholders
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team
Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles
- Prior experience as a CFO within a private equity-backed company
- Strong expertise in capital markets, debt financing, and M&A transactions
- Demonstrated success in preparing companies for exit events
- Experience managing complex financial structures and lender relationships
- CPA or MBA required
- Bachelor’s degree required
Compensation: $300,000 — $500,000 base performance bonus potential equity
