Position Summary:

Meeting mechanical maintenance management goals on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting & operation wellness at the context of safety instruction attributing to greater plant productivity.

Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

1. Team-up with rolling Mill Maintenance team for assigned mill off-line or breakdown orders of mechanical equipment repairs & refurbishment in maintenance outpost shop.

2. Troubleshooting practice in rolling mill.

3. Carry out inspection and Mechanical work within the designated area of responsibility and personal ability in a safe and consensus manner as directed by immediate Senior Technician.

4. Comprehends the intended results of plan, for timely completion and quality implementation of maintenance work.

5. Report relevant activities, and so with the status of the assigned maintenance activities.

6. Looks into the safety aspect within workplace, tools, facilities, and subordinates.

7. Perform mill maintenance fittings work.

8. Respond with due haste for all calls during production stage and delays.

9. Report all equipment or process demand not to be functioning correctly to immediate senior technician/ Foreman.

10. Keep the working area clean and tidy.

11. Ask permission from immediate Senior Technician prior to disabling any safety interlocks.

12. Working with extreme flexibility in rolling mills area and repair shop area.

13. Report to mill foreman all job activities carried out during shift duty prior to leaving site.

Other Responsibilities:

1. To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.

2. Familiar safety instructions related to their jobs.

3. To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.

4. To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to the concerned responsible.

5. To attend safety training planned for them.
