Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

  1. Adhere to ISPC HSE policies, Lock-out/Tag-out, and electrical isolation procedures.

  2. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of Scada, HMI systems, PLCs, drives, motors, and sensors.

  3. Support shift operations by preparing breakdown and shift reports.

  4. Assist in commissioning automation fault finding, diagnosis, ensure equipment returns to normal

operation stage, for rolling mill equipment including, loopers, shears, cooling beds, and reheat

furnaces and all associated Automation Assets, Finite Control Elements, Systems.

  1. Participate in preventive maintenance programs.

  2. Use SAP PM for work orders, spares, and material reservations.

Technical Skills:

  1. PLC programming (Siemens Step7/TIA, Rockwell/AB).

  2. Basic HMI/SCADA (WinCC, Inductive Automation Ignition v8.1/8.33).

  3. Troubleshooting of AC/DC motors, soft starters, drives — ABB, Parker, Siemens, AllenBradley.

  4. Basic instrumentation (encoders, sensors, HMDs, loop scanners, process instrumentation..etc).

  5. Basic networking (Profibus, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet, Modbus TCP, Modbus ASCI, RS485)

  6. UPS and low-voltage switchgear familiarity.

IIoT / Industry 4.0 Skills:

  1. Awareness of IIoT concepts.

  2. Familiarity with MQTT and OPC UA for device connectivity.

  3. Support data collection and historian systems.

  4. Participate in OEE, predictive maintenance, and energy optimization projects.

Soft Skills:

Competencies:

3 -5 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance preferable in Rolling Mills and preferably in

Industrial Automation with Software Skills, Electrical CAD Software, Engineering Design

Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley, DC Drives, AC Drives, Servo Drives & soft Starters Experience

SIMATIC Step 7, TIA, PLC, HMI, SCADA Experience Rockwell, Allenbradely PLCs, HMI

BASIC HMI, SCADA, INDUSTRIAL NETWORKING, Basic Database Programming

Basic Shift Planning, Spares Parts Management, MV LV MDB, PDB Maintenance

AC/DC Motor maintenance Basic knowledge

Industry 4.0, MQTT, IIOT, Digitization, Cybersecurity Basics
