++Job Scope:++
Provides diagnostic services by assessing and treating neonate, hearing, balance, and communication and swallowing disorders (infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric)
++Main duties and responsibilities:++
- The Audiologist performs the audio logical and vestibular testing of ENT patients referred to them.
- Performs procedures for tinnitus vertigo treatment.
- Works under the supervision of consultants/ registrars.
- Independent accurate testing of patients referred to audiology department.
- Responsible to provide the highest quality of service to the patients under his/her.
- care within the resources provided by the program.
- Prepare reports and statistical analysis as required and such reports will be prepared in a timely manner in accordance with the standards within the Department.
- Provides auditory evaluations and education by measuring and studying noise conditions; conducting hearing protection and hearing loss screening programs.
- Participate in and help establish the educational programs conducted by medical Administration and provide instructions as required to the various departments in the form of a continuing education program.
- Follows established policies and procedures.
- Attends regularly scheduled meeting for the improvement of patient care services and delivery.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality
- Provide speech therapy as needed , on occasions.
- Accept all other additional assignments found necessary by the Head of Department.
++Education & Qualifications:++
- Post graduate in Speech & hearing
- 3 years experience after Post Graduation
