The Mission
We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to help X-Team grow its partnerships with some of the world’s most recognisable companies. You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, driving revenue growth while building long-lasting client relationships.
This position reports to the Vice President of Growth & Partnerships and is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, or other Western U.S. states.

What You’ll Do Everyday
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with companies seeking staff augmentation or managed development teams
- Lead the full sales cycle from discovery to proposal, negotiation, and contract signature
- Educate clients on X-Team’s model, emphasizing scalability, compliance, and access to elite engineering talent
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, procurement teams, and MSP partners to foster long-term talent partnerships
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery
- Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, team performance, and ongoing resourcing opportunities
- Track and report key sales and delivery metrics to inform strategy and forecast growth opportunities
- Represent X-Team with enthusiasm and professionalism in client meetings, conferences, and partnership discussions

- Demonstrated success in business development or B2B sales, ideally within technology, staff augmentation, or professional services
- Experience engaging with global clients or navigating international markets
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities
- Solid understanding of contracts, pricing structures, and end-to-end sales cycles
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-driven, with strong follow-through on commitments
- A growth mindset grounded in curiosity, integrity, and enthusiasm for creating meaningful impact

Compensation Range
$100,000 — $125,000 USD base salary per year, plus commission
Final compensation is determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
