About The Role Thompson Gray, Inc. is seeking an experienced RPA Business Analyst to join their Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating business processes within the Army FM community, focusing on audit, divestiture, business process engineering, and quality improvements. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end RPA and workflow automation initiatives, collaborating with diverse stakeholders including military personnel, civilians, contractors, and internal teams. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and RPA developers, ensuring automation solutions are effectively designed, developed, and deployed to optimize operational workflows. Qualifications
- BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields
- Up to 3 years of experience in analysis, business process improvement, or consulting, preferably with automation projects for DoD clients
- Certification in UiPath, Power Platform, or other automation software is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in creating detailed Process Design Documentation (PDDs), process/keystroke mappings, SOPs, and training briefs
- Proficiency with tools such as Visio or process recording software for process documentation
- Experience working remotely, demonstrating excellent communication skills and familiarity with virtual project management tools
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance; candidates with an active clearance are highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of RPA and workflow automation solutions, adhering to best practices
- Collaborate with external agencies, military personnel, civilians, and contractors to facilitate RPA projects and inquiries
- Design, build, test, and maintain automation workflows in partnership with RPA developers and stakeholders
- Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather comprehensive requirements for automation initiatives
- Act as the primary point of contact for RPA customers, providing expertise, support, and updates on project status
- Brief clients on RPA capabilities and potential automation solutions to meet their operational needs
- Capture detailed process information from clients and process owners to inform automation development
- Present project updates, automation requests, and status reports to clients, project managers, and governance boards
- Create and maintain documentation, promotional materials, videos, and presentations related to RPA initiatives
- Coordinate with developers to ensure automation requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions
- Develop metrics, track performance, and forecast financial impacts of automation projects
- Support governance and compliance processes related to RPA deployment and management
- Facilitate communication with clients via email and virtual meetings to ensure alignment and project success
