Job Description BookkeeperResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accounts Receivable: Create and submit invoices/payment applications, receive payments, process daily bank deposits, weekly collections, maintain customer files
  • Accounts Payable: Review and enter bills, process weekly payments, maintain vendor files
  • Generate ad hoc financial reports
  • Research, track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
  • Daily and monthly reconciliation of all bank/credit card accounts

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in the construction industry
  • Excellent computer skills: Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and well-organized
  • Positive attitude
