Bartender

Our bar team is known all over the valley for both innovation and reverence for the history of their craft. A comprehensive understanding of classic cocktails, to include spirit knowledge, and execution of those recipes and presentations. Wine and beer knowledge are also required for the position. The goal each day is to deliver high energy, genuine hospitality and quality cocktails.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

Set up and breakdown bar

Prep necessary mixers, garnishes, juices for service

Prepare craft and classic cocktails for all dining room guests

Guide guests through the food and beverage menus to help pick complimentary items or provide guidance on dietary restrictions

Manicuring tables and maintaining guests needs throughout service

Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff to ensure a smooth service

Handle guest complaints or service issues with a positive attitude

Issue bills and accept payment

Be involved in features and menu changes

QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must have a minimum of two years of bartending experience in bar that serves beer, wine and cocktails

Ability to legally serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with Arizona Liquor laws

Proficient in the making of classic cocktails.

Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine and beer

Skilled in different cocktail mixing, stirring and shaking methods

Ability to organize well and tickets

Hands-on experience in cashier duties to include, closing checks, issuing accurate change, enter tips in POS

Attention to cleanliness and safety

Patience and customer-oriented approach

Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude

Food Handlers Card

Title IV Liquor Certification

Maintain a high level of energy for the duration of a shift

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
