Position: Audio Engineer

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $25 – $55/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform audio QA to identify, document, and resolve quality issues in audio datasets.
  • Analyze, process, and prepare audio files using professional audio tools.
  • Restore and enhance recordings to ensure clarity, fidelity, and consistency.
  • Analyze complex waveforms and provide detailed technical insights and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on audio quality standards.
  • Maintain high attention to detail across all stages of audio processing.
  • Communicate findings and technical information clearly in written and verbal formats.

Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in Audio Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong experience in audio QA, restoration, and audio tool usage.
  • Strong analytical skills in waveform analysis and audio diagnostics.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with audio processing workflows and dataset preparation.
