About the Role

The Associate Software Engineer will play a key role in supporting enterprise data archival initiatives through software development and customer collaboration. The position focuses on guiding data extraction, transformation, and archival processes while ensuring compliance and accessibility. This role contributes to reducing operational risk and improving data management by developing tools and AI-powered solutions. It supports internal teams by providing technical expertise and fostering collaboration to maintain high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise data archival initiatives with software development and subject matter expertise
• Partner with application and business teams to lead data extraction, transformation, and archival into enterprise solutions
• Design and maintain utilities and tools to streamline archival processes and reduce risk
• Ensure complete, accurate, and compliant data extraction aligned with enterprise and legal standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and provide timely, high-quality support
• Apply software engineering best practices in delivering technical solutions
• Build strong team relationships through curiosity, collaboration, and servant-leadership behaviors
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions addressing complex business challenges responsibly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related IT field
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience using Python
• At least 1 year experience with Unix/Linux environments
• At least 1 year experience with SQL, relational databases, and data ETL processes

Nice to Have

• Experience in customer-facing roles with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using and building AI tools to enhance engineering productivity and business value
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail balancing technical delivery and support
• Adaptability and ownership in dynamic environments

Compensation

$60,200 — $107,400 USD annually (based on full-time employment)

Pay is determined by factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
