We are looking for a versatile Application Platform / DevOps Engineer to support an IT organization within a Japanese financial services firm in the Americas.
This role focuses on application platform operations, development support, and migration initiatives, working closely with multiple application teams in an Agile environment.

++This position requires a broad technical skill set, hands-on mindset, and the ability to flexibly support various tools and processes across the application lifecycle.++

++▶ ︎ Key Responsibilities:++

  • Provide operational support for application platforms, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response.
  • Support application development initiatives, including coordination with multiple application teams.
  • Manage and support DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, container-based environments, and release processes
  • Support frequent application releases in an Agile development environment
  • Utilize GitHub for module management and application operational support
  • Support front-office and middle-office applications across the Americas (primarily web-based and microservices)

▶ ︎ Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Broad experience across application platform operations, development support, and migration projects
  • Strong understanding of the full SDLC, with hands-on experience completing at least two full development cycles
  • Experience working in Agile development environments with frequent releases
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple application teams
  • Strong communication skills in English

  • Experience with DevOps-related technologies such as:

  • GitHub / GitHub Actions

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • Container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)

  • Experience supporting financial services
