Application Engineer – Oracle Cloud Financials
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience – Advanced knowledge of Oracle Applications, specifically Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management – Extensive experience in developing and deploying BI Publisher Reports and OTBI reports – Proficient in Java, J2EE, and ADF systems development – Background in integration development using Oracle Middleware solutions – Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Data Conversion – Understanding of cloud migration and cloud-centric environments – Experience with SQL (Oracle or MS SQL) – Knowledge of Agile software development practices like SAFe, Scrum, and CI/CD tools – Strong technical development skills with an understanding of the software development lifecycle – Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues – Self-motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving capabilities – Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside a team to develop and integrate Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials for various projects – Conduct systems analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and application support – Oversee the rollout of new modules, upgrades, and fixes – Create new reports utilizing Oracle Cloud Reporting applications – Define and modify software application modules using standard development processes – Coordinate integration plans while working with testing teams – Assess, recommend, and implement IT solutions that align with business requirements – Strategically plan the construction and integration of new systems within the IT ecosystem – Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure applications – Ensure solutions align with customer goals and industry best practices – Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers – Proactively identify design or operational issues and initiate corrective measures – Research and provide insights related to IT audit inquiries from various stakeholders – Offer IT support for crucial processes including month-end and year-end tasks involving vendor 1099 generation.
